Curly hair, do care!

I shed I small tear when I see curly haired clients straightening their hair because they don’t know what to do with it. Or they’ve been to a salon that has panicked at the sight of curly locks and hacked at it like a bush.

This is where my name really comes into play- Hair S.O.S, I LOVE CURLY HAIR!! There is nothing better than taming unruly curls that have lost there way.
Once you have had a cut by someone who knows how to handle curls, The two most important things to master with curly hair is getting the correct product and how to style.
Product- Organic products with no sulphites really are your friend here as they will leave your locks looking luscious and natural, I Love John Masters Sweet orange Styling gel as it hugs the hair and therefor not allowing it to go fluffy and fly-away,

The other product I swear by is John Master Argan oil. You can literally use this on everything from scars to hair treatments. This is an oil in its pureist form so a couple of drops of this elixir will tame and calm any amount of frizz.
Styling- The best piece of advise is don’t over handle, the more your play the bigger and fluffier it will get. I like to take random sections and twist all over, then use a diffuser away from the head to start setting the curls before going in and lifting the hair into the diffuser to dry, this allows clusters of hairs to dry together in the same curl rather than individually which stops the bouffant look. Once the hair is 90% dry, stop. You can then tease these sections apart and apply a little more oil if needed. You will be left with a glossy maintained natural curl that should last for days!
